RR Global embarked its presence in 1986

Was start of an exciting journey pioneering momentum, technical expertise, innovations and landmark achievements.
Here is a look at its remarkable journey since inception.

  • 1986

    Established a winding wires manufacturing unit at Vadodara, Gujarat.

  • 1989

    Set up the second manufacturing facility with bigger capacity for manufacturing winding wire at waghodia, Gujarat.

  • 1991

    Established Ram Ratna International for exports and became government recognized export house in 1st year.

  • 1994

    Established another factory of winding wire by the name of Ram Ratna wires Ltd at Dadra Nagar, Havelli (U.T).

  • 1999

    Launched RR Kabel and setup the most advanced facility of wire and cables manufacturing unit at Silvassa, Gujarat.

  • 2001

    Became the first in India to introduce the concept of electro-mechanical multi-level car parking systems by launching RR Parkon.

  • 2010

    Introduced a complete range of wiring devices including India’s first ‘design it yourself’ switches by launching RR Switches.

  • 2010

    Established low voltage cable manufacturing unit at Waghodia, Gujarat.

  • 2011

    Acquired 1 million sq.mt. land at Waghodia, Gujarat to develop a world electrical hub.

  • 2011

    Set up the first overseas factory in Bangladesh to manufacture super enameled wires & LV Cables.

  • 2012

    Introduced a comprehensive range of domestic & industrial fans under the brand name of RR Fans.

  • 2013

    Established RR Electrical Middle East FZC for manufacturing and distribution of lighting, switches, fans and switchgear in Middle East, GCC and Africa.

  • 2014

    Introduced a range of switchgears (circuit breakers, distribution boards & low transmission switchgears)

  • 2016

    Tailored itself from an umbrella of identities to an unified identity, RR Global. Also launched RR Busducts
